Project Description

The project marked the 150th anniversary of the City of Krefeld through a comprehensive urban media staging concept. The initiative combined large-scale architectural illumination for opening and closing ceremonies with distributed media-driven touchpoints across the city.

These installations enabled visitors to engage with the history, development and cultural identity of the city through immersive and narrative-based formats. Media technology was used to activate public architecture and urban spaces, creating a cohesive experiential journey.

The role included creative-technological concept development, project leadership and implementation of media art installations, as well as curatorial structuring of content and storytelling logic, ensuring that historical context and media innovation were meaningfully connected.
